The Eastern Sierra Mountains are a favorite place for photographing fall colors. Aspens are stunning and especially so when reflected in a still body of water – such as a beaver pond. This image was captured in 2003. Upon a recent visit I found this location completely change. The drought and beaver’s work have reduce the pond dramatically.
